Jan Willem Eggink (1958) combines his experience as a trainer/coach, programme developer, capacity builder and entrepreneur to help Three Mountains learning advisors grow into a successful e-learning company in Rwanda. His personal ambition is to create and make available quality learning products that contribute to the country’s development and economic growth.
Together with his wife and business partner Gerry van der Hulst he already started a similar e-learning company in The Netherlands in 2005, De Professionele Mens (Professional People).
From 2011 until 2015 Jan Willem also worked at Agri-ProFocus. As a network facilitator he helped grow local networks of Agri-professionals in Rwanda, Burundi and Eastern Congo, online as well as face-to-face.
From 2008 until 2014 he was an elected member of the district-council of Utrechtse Heuvelrug as the leader of the Liberal Democrats (D66).
From 2003 until 2005 he lived and worked in Niamey in Niger. For SNV he designed and piloted a regional Leadership training programme for mayors and CEO’s of local organisations in seven countries in West Africa.
After completing his studies in irrigation engineering and rural extension at Wageningen University in 1984 he started working as a trainer in communication skills in The Netherlands. As from 1991 as a self-employed trainer/coach in leadership and organisational development.
